One of Orlando’s top destinations, Kennedy Space Center is the only place in the world where you can tour launch areas, understand more about what the Space Program has accomplished and is doing for the future, meet veteran astronauts, ride a spaceflight simulator, and if they timing is right, view a shuttle launch!
The Kennedy Space Center is open to the public year-round, with the exception of December 25 and the days shuttles are launched. Tours are offered within the center and depart every 15 minutes. Regular admission rates range from $38 for adults and $28 for kids. Annual passes are also available for purchase. Special events include space shuttle launch viewings (buy those a couple of months ahead, they sell out quick!) and ATX, Astronaut Training Experience, which lets you see how astronauts really do their thing on the ground and in space.

Meet Shamu the killer whale, sea lions, and other amazing sea creatures. Kids can also get the chance of joining the most exciting adventure camps, including resident camps, day camps, and sleepover camps. Seaworld is open year-round, but the website should be checked prior to traveling, since it may vary depending on the season and day. Tips for kids and parents: bring along a waterproof camera and an autograph book to meet Shamu & Crew characters.
